Geoff Todd recently became a Member of the Order of Australia, in recognition of his significant contribution to the arts, specifically painting and sculpture.

Todd’s inspiration comes from far and wide - from Aboriginal communities in Arnhem Land with whom he lived and worked; to  the Darwin where he taught and soon became the nucleus of the Northern Territory art scene. Today, he continues to be a citizen of the world, travelling and exhibiting from Australia, to Indonesia and Europe.

Todd’s work is in the public collections of Canberra’s Australian National Gallery, the Australian National Library of Australia, the National Gallery of Victoria, the State Library of Victoria, the Museum & Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, and many more regional and international institutions. He has used his success as a renowned Australian artist to be champion of human  - and particularly Indigenous Australians’ - rights.
